KAP Services and Costs

Medical/Psychiatric Screening $400

Mid-KAP Follow-Up (30 minutes) $300

Medical Monitoring (if needed) $300/session

Facility Fee (AIP Campus) $150/session

Medicine Costs

Sublingual Troches $15/session

Intramuscular Ketamine $50/session

Note:
Additional screening for complex cases may require a $200 session.

Medical Monitoring at AIP

Some clients may require medical monitoring for safe administration of ketamine. At our AIP campus, we have all necessary equipment, including AEDs and trained staff, to ensure your safety.

Costs:

Medical Monitoring: $300/session
Facility Fee: $150/session

Am I Eligible for KAP?

Absolute Exclusion Criteria

⛔ Not Eligible for KAP if Any Apply:

Primary psychotic disorder
Acute mania or mixed affective states
Severe personality disorder
Active homicidal ideation
Ketamine use disorder (active or history)
Active alcohol use disorder (and unable to abstain 48 hours before & after KAP)
Active substance use disorder
Daily use of controlled opiate, sedative, or anxiolytic medications
Central sleep apnea
Heart arrhythmia (other than PVCs)
Aortic aneurysm
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
Uncontrolled high blood pressure
History of brain aneurysm or malformation
Untreated thyroid disorder
Pregnancy or attempting pregnancy

Conditional Exclusion Criteria

⚠️ Medical Monitoring Required for the Following:

Active suicidal ideation
Age less than 18 or older than 65 years
Primary residence outside of NC state
Obstructive sleep apnea (suspected or diagnosed)
Hypertension (if well-controlled)
Heart disease or history of cardiovascular event (e.g., heart attack, unstable chest pain)
History of stroke
Glaucoma or increased intraocular pressure
Increased intracranial pressure
Kidney disease (acute or chronic)
Chronic urinary tract infections or bladder issues (e.g., cystitis)
Acute or chronic liver disease
Polypharmacy

Depression
Anxiety disorders
Adjustment disorders
Eating disorders
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Passive suicidal ideation (SI)
Chronic pain conditions
Substance use disorder in remission
Grief and loss disorders (conditional)

Note: For those not requiring medical monitoring, sessions may still take place at AIP for the facility fee of $150 per session.
